The 2009 and 1st Beachfront Christmas Tree which was lit with a flip of the switch by the "First Lady" of the Borough, Mrs. Sharon Smith.

The Beachfront had to endure many snow storms...

Look close. It's true... This is a car on Park Avenue. And this was from 2010.

When it finally stopped snowing, a March 13 Nor'easter created a lot of damage along the entire Beachfront area.

The Beach was loaded with garbage and debris after the March 13 storm.

In April, Fran Donnelly and the Clean Ocean Action "Beach Sweep" volunteers arrived for their annual clean-up of the Beach and other areas.

A Backhoe was donated from Monmouth County...

The Borough installed parking meters at the Beachfront to help cover maintenance costs.

The new concession building with bathrooms at Scholer Park had a grand opening on October 24.

Mayor Paul J. Smith, Jr. with Monmouth Cty Freeholders Rob Clifton and Tom Arnone along with Sheriff Shaun Golden and Assemblyman Sam Thompson.

Scholer Park had a Grand Re-Opening on October 24 that included a new skate park, concession building with bathrooms, etc.

In October, the Borough shredded 190 boxes of old Municipal documents after getting approval from Monmouth County.

We gathered, remembered and prayed over the loss of a young resident named Mark...

Over 100 volunteers showed up in November during our Clean Communities Day and did a Great Job!

We found one of our portable toilets floating in the bay one day... No *#!?...
